Airlie Day Spa was the sponsor of the Comedy Gala as part of Whitsunday Reef Festival 2010. A sell out crowd of 90 people supplied a great atmosphere at Waterline on Shingley to enjoy a non-stop laugh that seem to last over 2 hours!
Internationally renowned comedians Lindsay Webb and Mickey D flashed in from busy schedules to provide the entertainment. Lindsay had held the world record for longest stand up for a time and his ability to run endless gags was displayed through his routine targetting Ms Claus and the origins of cows' milk drinking and much more. Mickey D mastery of faces and accents allowed him to recount in living colour foreign travels, highlighting heckling from the stand up crowds in Edinburgh and doing stand up in New Zealand.
